About the Book:
“In the 13 years between 1995 and 2008, only 8 cases of being switched at birth were reported in the U.S.

Everyone has heard of being switched at birth, but it just doesn’t happen to people you know. This couldn’t have happened to me. But it did.

For the longest time, I felt ashamed. I had opportunities to share my story but all I wanted to do was hide and be invisible. I was afraid to open myself up to ridicule or criticism.

Thanks to years of therapy, healing, an unshakable faith in God, and the encouragement of my family, I found the courage to tell my story, “The Little Dark One.”

This book will give hope to the hopeless. It will help those who have questioned whether life is worth living. I’ve been there, and came out the other side stronger, grateful, and courageous enough to tell my story, so others can too heal.”

About the Author:
”My name is Shirley Muñoz Newson; I was born in a small community located in the northeastern corner of Wyoming. And I still live there. My most important roles in life are wife, mother, and nana.
My husband Scott and I have six children, two grandchildren, and six grand dogs. Family is of utmost importance to Scott and me.

It has taken me over twenty years of therapy, healing, an unshakable faith in God, and the encouragement of my family, and I found the courage to tell my story, “The Little Dark One.”
